New Look

There is a new look to the website! I like to freshen things up every so often.
I am so excited to meet the new little babies that are coming into the studio for their newborn sessions. Can't wait to try out some new props.

On another note... I officially have a kindergarten graduate! Abby's last day of school was Thursday. She lost her first tooth last week too! Man, they grow up so quick. Jackie is eating us out of house and home and sleeping longer than usual, so I think we are going through another growth spurt. Time for some new portraits before they get too big!

Spring is in Full Swing!

Dance Portraits in the studio! Thanks for all of those who came in for today's special portrait sessions! Those little ballerinas and tappers were so cute. I can't wait to edit and post a couple of images. I am now booking outdoor sessions in the park.
And.... Portrait Parties are being booked now. Gather 3 or more families for a portrait session in the park and receive a special rate of $25 AND that includes an 8x10 and 4x6 portrait print from your session! Call now to book your weekend outing. Sessions only available in morning or evening (these are the best times for natural light).

Looking for some props...

Hey there...

I am looking for some props... anything from old chairs to vintage clothing (all sizes). Here are some ideas of things I am looking for:
Hats
fashion accessories
fabric
chairs
sofas
tea sets
baskets
cool throws
dresses (vintage)
rain boots - umbrellas
any kind of kids boots
wash tubs

Please send me an e-mail if you'd like to donate something to the studio. We'll get you a certificate for a portrait credit in exchange, based on the item.

Has anyone have Spring Fever?

I do! It has been COLD and I am ready for some warm weather. That said, I am gearing up for some Spring Portraits. Check the website for specials.

I completed the Shirley Temple theme session. We based it on The Good Ship Lollipop Song and Movie to match. I sewed a 1950's childs dress from guess... a 50's pattern. Man have instructions came a long way! I felt so overwhelmed with the wording on the pattern. I think it was some sort of 1950's code! Ha! I'll post some images from the session. We completed the look with some ruffle socks, curly hair, and little black shoes. And, oh yeah... a lollipop!

Feel free to send me some ideas of some famous pics or people that you'd like to see "themed"!

Stay Warm!
